Robert Earl Keen, Twinkle's,Trampolines and Choir Concerts

On Saturday night Carlye (and the rest of the Hill Country Youth Orchestra) performed with Robert Earl Keen.  We weren't allowed to video tape anything, but she really had fun playing.  I love listening to her fiddle!

Nathanael's violin playing is going really well, too!  And he's excited because his private instructor just asked him to be a part of the Twinkle orchestra.  He is so proud.

It's been really, really windy today.  53 mph windy.  Metal signs blew down, stop lights came off - even roofs were blowing down the road.  When we got home, this is what we found:

Our trampoline was transformed into a UFO.  The top netting part was completely crushed, and the actual frame is bent as well.  The kids are so sad!

Noah's school play was last Thursday.   He played the part of George Washington.  We didn't get any pictures, only video - I'll try to upload that later.  Noah was SO proud.  Afterwards he took a very deep bow as everyone applauded.  When that was over, they sang songs and played instruments, and Noah enjoyed the entire evening.  He's on the right in blue and green stripes playing the triangle.

The wind today was so scary! I was driving home from my school and saw giant things flying through the air, a big tree branch hit my car! I am so sorry about your trampoline.

YOU sure keep busy. Are you done with Disney World pictures and stuff?

Nope - not done with Disney yet! I actually have a couple more posts to do. Hopefully I'll get to those soon!
