Happy Heart Day, everyone! The kids made their own valentines this year, and I thought that they turned out adorable!! Carlye made these fortune cookie valentines out of pretty paper:
The "fortune" inside was this:
These were Nathanael's:
And Noah's:
All in all I thought that they turned out pretty cute!
And on a completely unrelated note:
Today as Noah and I were driving home from his school Valentines Day party he asks me, "Mom, do people make good meat?" "WHY would you ask me that?" I said, very concerned. "Because that chocolate loving guy on the movie (translation - Willy Wonka played by Johnny Depp) said that people are edible." I must confess, it took me a few minutes to figure out what he was talking about. I mean, we haven't watched Willy Wonka in a really, really long time. Then he says, "Yeah, he said it was frowned upon in most countries."
Yes, Noah. Yes it is.

I LOVE that boy. Your Valentines are adorable. After Disneyland I didn't have the energy so we bought them, but I sure missed it.
